Does self-care feeling like a never ending chore?

You feel like you’re running on fumes. You’re burnt out and you have no time or energy for yourself, never mind self-growth. Maybe past experiences of trauma or unhealthy relationships have left your body feeling unsafe for a long time. You feel stressed, racy, on edge and wired but tired. It’s hard to quiet your mind at bedtime and impossible to drag yourself out of bed the next morning. You’ve talked through many of your problems, but your body still feels stress, anxious and on edge. Integrative wellness could be the missing link in your mental health.

Maybe you’re noticing:

  • Brain fog

  • Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep

  • Chronic anxiety or depression

  • Fatigue, low-energy or burnout

  • Feeling tired but wired

  • Ups & downs or moodiness

  • Feeling racy, pressured and constantly stressed

We’ve all felt mentally and emotionally vulnerable after missing a night of sleep or getting hangry. But you sleep it off or get a snack and you’re good, right? Maybe, but some of the time we have habits and day to day patterns that keep us in a state of distress and dis-ease. With training in nutritional therapy, yoga and sleep for mental health, I am passionate about making sure that you feel your best, mind and body.

FAQS

Common questions about Integrative Wellness

  • It depends on your individual needs! During the first few sessions, we will assess your areas that needs support first and what resources you have to make changes. Some people notice they need a lot of integrative support from the start to stabilize their mental health, while others use the integrative interventions to really fine tune their mental health. Integrative interventions also pair nicely with other modalities, so the majority of the session may look like any other session discussion emotions, beliefs and thoughts.

  • That’s okay! Keep your therapist! I can provide individualized adjunct care over a few sessions. Most people get the support they need for big change in 1-3 sessions. I can coordinate with your therapist about the integrative wellness goals we are working on at your request.

  • I’m glad you asked! I have a Master’s in Clinical Social Work and many years of practice providing therapy. I’m a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner with additional training as an Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Provider. I’m also a trained yoga teacher with additional training on yoga for mental health.
